Keeping the Spotlight on SEL

October 13, 2021 @ 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm
Virtual Via Zoom
Jan Yost, Executive Director

Throughout this turbulent year, educators have fully embraced the value of prioritizing social-emotional learning (SEL) – for ourselves and our students. Now, the question becomes: How do we maintain a clear, unwavering focus on SEL so that it becomes an integral part of our educational culture? In this session, participants will learn of three factors necessary for creating and sustaining an SEL system, thus transitioning beyond a program and morning meeting. Additionally, attendees will also reflect on and appraise four methods for integrating SEL throughout the learning system.

Krista Leh is an educator, former administrator, adjunct professor, and educational consultant specializing in Social-Emotional Learning.
